The day of screenprinting was very useful to me as I have not screenprinted in the facilities before, so it was helpful to learn the process. I was glad that the second years had advised me to print crop marks, as this allowed me to line up my designs well for the second layer, however this is still difficult and as a result some of my screen prints were not correctly lined up. However, some students said that they liked this effect. Since I was printing on black, and using very light inks, I had to create several layers of the ink to make my design as bright and clear as possible. I was pleased with the results, however, I would have chosen a different yellow ink that was more similar to my previous designs. Once I had printed my designs, I used the crop marks to chop the paper down to A4 size ready for the exhibition.
